Daftar lengkap nominasi British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) 2022 telah diumumkan pada Kamis (3/2) malam waktu Indonesia. Beberapa film mendominasi nominasi, seperti Belfast, Dune, Licorice Pizza, dan The Power of the Dog.

Dune masuk 11 nominasi BAFTA 2022, seperti Best Film, Adapted Screenplay, Original Score, Casting, dan Cinematography.

Sedangkan The Power of the Dog mencetak delapan nominasi. Belfast mengikuti dengan enam nominasi, kemudian No Time to Die dengan lima nominasi sama seperti Licorice Pizza.

Film Jepang Drive My Car juga masuk beberapa nominasi, seperti Film Asing Terbaik, Sutradara Terbaik untuk Ryusuke Hamaguchi, serta Adapted Screenplay.

Secara keseluruhan, nominasi BAFTA 2022 mencakup 48 film, atau turun sedikit dari tahun lalu yang menampilkan 50 film.

BAFTA juga menyatakan jumlah nominasi perempuan secara total telah meningkat menjadi 70 dan tercatat sebagai yang tertinggi dalam lima tahun terakhir.

BAFTA merupakan penghargaan film tertinggi di Inggris dan kerap dianggap menjadi penentu arah bagi Oscar yang berlangsung tak lama setelahnya. Academy Awards 2022 akan diselenggarakan pada 27 Maret.

Sementara itu, BAFTA 2022 bakal berlangsung di London pada 22 Maret 2022.
