Recording Academy telah mengumumkan daftar lengkap nominasi Grammy Awards 2022 pada Rabu (24/11) dini hari waktu Indonesia. Sejumlah nama berhasil mendapatkan banyak nominasi.

Justin Bieber mendapatkan delapan nominasi, termasuk Album of the Year, Record of the Year, dan Song of the Year. Perolehan itu sama dengan pendatang baru, Olivia Rodrigo yang mendapatkan nominasi di seluruh kategori umum.

Billie Eilish menyusul dengan tujuh nominasi, termasuk Album of the Year, Record of the Year, dan Song of the Year. Sementara grup asal Korea Selatan, BTS, kembali mendapatkan nominasi Grammy Awards berkat Butter dalam kategori Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

Grup musik asal Swedia, ABBA, mendapatkan nominasi Grammy Awards pertamanya semenjak berkarier pada 1972-1986 dan kembali reuni pada 2016 lalu. Grup tersebut mendapatkan nominasi Record of the Year berkat I Still Have Faith In You pada tahun ini.

Malam puncak Grammy Awards 2022 akan berlangsung pada Senin 31 Januari 2021 malam waktu Los Angeles atau Selasa 1 Februari pagi waktu Indonesia.
