PIKIRAN RAKYAT - A chaos broke out at Tangerang Lentera Festival 2024 concert (TNG Lanfest) , Indonesia. Which was held at Pasar Kemis Football Field, Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday night, 23 June 2024.

The concert featured several Indonesian bands, such as Feel Koplo, Guyon Waton, and Ndx Axa. Thousands of people have been attending the concert since 7 p.m., but it did not start until 7.30 p.m.

This also provoked the audience's anger, and they started throwing stones at the stage. The action continued until finally there was an incident of burning the music concert facilities.

The investigator of Tangerang police has examined eight witnesses of the Tangerang Lentera Festival 2024 incident.

"We have investigated five people from the EO (event organizer) and three from the music concert organizing committee," said Pasar Kemis Police Chief, AKP Ucu Nuryandi, in Tangerang on Monday, 24 June 2024.

He said that his officers were still investigating witnesses from the music festival organizers. Investigators also know the identity of the chief organizer of the music concert, MDP (27).

“We already have the identity of the chief of the committee of the music concert, and we are processing to search for the chief of the committee to be responsible for the chaos that happened” he said.

According to Ucu Nuryandi, the chief of committee of the music concert was reported for reported for misappropriation and scam that led to the rioting of the music concert's audience. Based on this report, the police are still looking for the chief of committee.

The committee in charge of the Tangerang Lentera Festival 2024 music concert, which led to a crowd riot and the burning of a stage, is being hunted down by police. Investigators are currently pursuing the organising committee of the music festival.

“We are currently looking for the committees for being irresponsible, we are looking for the them because when the stage is burning, there are no committees that on duty at that time” Ucu Nuryandi said.

He said that the police’s effort in looking for the committee of the festival is to hold them responsible for the rioting that caused damage to a number of facilities.

"This means that the police are looking for the committee to hold them responsible after this concert was chaotic and the entire audience was disappointed because they had bought tickets," said Ucu Nuryandi.

According to him, the festival presents musicians from the Central Java region. Tickets are sold for Rp115,000 either in person or online.
