TIMESINDONESIA, PROBOLINGGO – Sometimes people has such a small nerve to go to Bromo for they were afraid it will cost them too much. Little did you know, the fare won't make you broke. All you need was just prepared a couple of bucks or around hundred thousands rupiah.

So, what is the exact number to prepare if we want to go to Bromo, either for domestic or foreign tourist? We will list you the ticket fare for every attraction including the cost to take a jeep to Bromo. Let's start it from the jeep.

To enjoy Bromo by riding a jeep you need to book an open trip from Malang, Pasuruan,or Probolinggo. This trip will cost you around IDR 350 K. they will pick you up from Malang (the hotel where you stay) usually they will ask you take a closer hotel around Malang Kota railway station if you go from Malang.

It will be at midnight time by the time they picked you up. If you go from Malang it will take around 2 hours ride to the Penanjakan or Bukit Kingkong where you will be given the best sunrise view as the best view of Bromo in the morning.

Before you reach your destination, half way to go to Bromo you will find a ticket stand. If you took an open trip then you don't need to be worry about the ticket for the travel company has arranged it for you. But if you go alone or with independent group then you need to check the price.

To get to this legendary mountain, for those who travel alone, you need to pay for IDR 29 K on weekdays, and IDR 34 K on the weekend.  As for foreign tourist it will cost you around ten time higher, which is around IDR 220 K on weekdays and IDR 320 K on the weekend, plus gate ticketing for IDR 10 K/pax.

When you arrived at Penanjakan or Bukit Kingkong there will be lots of people offer some jacket and gloves or even winter hat to rent. The jacket will cost you for IDR 15-25 K. meanwhile for the glove or hat you could have it for IDR 10-15 K.

Once you left the Penanjakan and reach Bromo, you might wanted to ride the local horse. For your consideration, the horse was built for the local minions under 70 kg or around 140 lbs. so if you were light enough you might consider to try riding the horse for IDR 150 K from and to the Bromo crater.
